i live in southern IN and my parents who have a cat that they thought got shot a while back, she had an open sore on her hip... dad took care of her keepin it clean and triple antibiotic on there and it healed up nice, well she was prego and i guess due to the stress had them too early and they didnt survive after a few days... well my younger sister is still in school and was tellin a friend about it and they said their cat had the same thing, and a few other people had cats that did too... well the sore my parents cat had was a pretty big in diameter and prolly could fit my thumb into it, it looked bad enough that my dad thought he was gonna have to put her down, but its gone now... but has anyone else seen somethin like this before? this cat is an outside cat thats pretty much a stray but they dont have the heart not to care for her

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

Well, it obviously was something nasty if you could put your thumb in it. How is this cat now?
If she were mine, I would take her to the vet, have her checked out, get her spayed and have her shots.
If you have to have a cat put down, please do the humane thing and have a vet do it.
