Professional photos!

I talked about the 'photo shoot' here:
http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=214243

These are the photos from that shoot. These are my four youngest cats who are litter-mates. I had a lot of trouble picking what photos I wanted prints of, there were a lot of great photos. I wish I could have ordered more prints but I couldn't afford it so I just picked these 4. I might order some more shots as prints later though...
Harlequin (Harley) is my tiny girl at only 7 1/2 pounds. Then there's Blaze and Mr Grey who are almost identical twins and around 9-10 pounds, and then chubby Spot who tips the scales at 14 pounds!

Great photos! There is no way I could get all of mine together to even have their photo taken!

I am impressed and amazed! How did all of them sit still long enough?

If you read the other thread I linked to, you'll see it was not easy! They kept getting up and moving and I had to put them back in place and then quickly step out of the photographer's way (over and over and over...) Except for Harlequin who just posed like a model the whole time. That's why she was the only one in all the shots, since she was the only one who stood still. I wasn't really surprised, she's also the most outgoing of my cats and wins the most in cat shows.

Great pictures! All the "herding" sure paid off.

The pictures are excellent, and your babies are beautiful. I had to chuckle at Harlequin, though, because she has the same sly smile in each photo!

I think that is her "I want the toy!" face because we were waving a toy around so she would look at the camera.
The other cats ignored the toy most of the time, except Blaze did look at it somewhat in between trying to make a break for it.

I lovvve them! I bet it was hard to narrow it down to these 4.

Harlequin is a great name -it matches her look- She's gorgeous and her littermates. All grown up and adorable. They definitely look like siblings

Very hard! If I could have afforded it I would have picked a lot more poses to get prints of. I am hoping to get some more later, the photographer keeps the digital copies in case people want to order more.

Thanks!

I should have put this in the first post but I just thought of it-- here are some photos of them as babies... Ignore the messy faces, the photos were taken when I gave them their first non-bottle-fed meal.

Here is Blaze, Mr Grey and Harlequin (Mr Grey and Harley were runts)

The 'front row' here is Spot, Mr Grey and Harlequin. The two behind them are ones that I adopted out, Pumpkin and Rosalie.

And here is one of the new professional photos in comparison!

I haven't heard from Pumpkin's new owner in a while now but last I heard she was doing well. I called her Pumpkin because her eyes changed to bright orange when she grew out of her baby eye color. The woman who adopted her changed Pumpkin's name to Pixie.
Rosalie is now owned by a friend of mine who owns a pet boutique, she posts photos of her on Facebook pretty often. I also sometimes get to see her when I visit the store, if Rosalie came along to work that day. Sometimes I bring a few of her siblings along to the store, if I'm buying something they need to try on.

They were all part of a litter of 7, I rescued them as feral kittens when they were just 3 weeks old. The other kitten from that litter who was adopted out is Tiger, who is also a torbie like Rosalie... She actually was adopted twice. The first time, the person who adopted her found out they were allergic and had to return her. They were really upset about it and helped me find someone else to adopt her. The people who adopted her work at the university I just graduated from (as did the first adopter). I get updates pretty often, they really love her. Her name is Gracie now. Actually I just saw the owners at my graduation. As I was returning to my seat after walking across the stage they told me, "Gracie says congratulations!"

This is Tiger/Gracie as a baby and adult(ish-- before she was adopted the second time):

Here is a more recent photo of Rosalie:

Here's a photo where you can see Pumpkin's orange eyes (she's the one in front staring at the camera):

The one with the big orange splotch on her head behind Pumpkin is Harley, the one Harley is stepping on is Mr Grey and then Blaze is in the upper left. I think Tiger and Rosalie are in there too but you can't see their faces.

Here is a photo of Pumpkin(Pixie) that her owner sent me when she was about 9 months old:

She looks quite a bit like Rosalie, except she's a tabby rather than a torbie.

Beautiful! I love how they all have a white stripe on their nose. Hmmm, could be a good name for a band...

LOL! Yeah for some reason the ones that were solid tabbies/torbies with no white were all chosen by adopters over the ones with white... I didn't originally plan to keep four kittens from the litter but it just worked out that way, I tried to find good homes but was only able to find homes for 3 out of the litter of 7. Originally I was just going to keep Mr Grey...of course the longer I had them the more attached I got, and once they were past the "cute baby" stage no one was interested. I am glad I kept them of course, they are all so sweet and each have their own different personalities. When they were younger they used to all cuddle up with me in bed so I would have 5-6 kitties all curled up on top of me purring! I miss that, now that they are adults usually I only get one at a time or maybe two.
