I only started to wear it about six years ago when a wonderful gay man showed me how to apply it
Just a little foundation and blush. A little mascara and I'm good to go. I wear it for work or special occasions only.
Do you have a lot of hair? That always kind of amazes/confuses me. I don't use a hairdryer (not coordinated enough), but I don't really need to. My hair is long and thin, it air dries in ~15 to 20 minutes.Originally Posted by 3CatsN1Dog
Mostly it just depends on how I want to do my hair if I scrunch it its quick if I dry it it can go on forever!

I don't suppose anyone could recommend one that comes hypoallergenic and unscented - and for very very light skin?

I agree.... who a person is, is about who they are on the inside. Making yourself look more pleasing on the outside, is definitely fine.Originally Posted by Rosiemac
I love watching makeovers on t.v. because i'm sorry, but no matter how good someone looks without makeup they look even better with a bit onI've seen people where a bit makeup has taken years off them
Totally agree with you Pam. I don't need makeup to give me confidence because it's already there without it, i just love wearing it and i know i look much better with it on.Originally Posted by Pami

I have a TON of hair I keep the length to atleast 1+ inches below my bra band, I hate getting my hair cut because they always end up cutting it too short and I end up looking like one of the chipmunks. I trim it myself every so often with manicure scissors. Its not even the length thats the problem its the thickness that is killer. I could shave the middle of my head and still haven enough hair on my head to make wigs for 10 people! I have to use 2 hair ties at one time to keep it up in a pony tail without it falling out, and I can only manage to get about 3 wks usage out of those ponytails because my hair is so horrendously thick that it ends up stretching them out so bad I cant use them or they break and I only wrap them around my hair 2 maybe 3 times to get it to stay put. On average to dry and straighten my hair it takes at a minimum 1 hour but to do it right and section off my hair to straighten it its more like 2 hours. If I dry and it decide to curl it its closer to 3 hours because I have to take a break half way thru because my arms start to hurt from drying it and then using the curling iron. If my hair wasnt my biggest vanity I would chop it off so it was easier to manage but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair even if its a pain in the butt. Theres nothing better than doing my hair just to lay on the couch on BFs lap and have him run his fingers thru my hair massaging my scalp....Those moments are worth every second and every shoulder crampOriginally Posted by strange_wings

I've thought about using a tinted moisturizer instead of a light foundation but have a lot of problems with sensitive skin and scents. I don't suppose anyone could recommend one that comes hypoallergenic and unscented - and for very very light skin?

I've left strict instructions as well that when i die the full slap has to be applied because i don't want to scare the angels!
Here are some from makeupalley where they have a lot of people reviewing different products.Originally Posted by strange_wings
