I only started to wear it about six years ago when a wonderful gay man showed me how to apply it
Just a little foundation and blush. A little mascara and I'm good to go. I wear it for work or special occasions only.

Depends on the weather. Nowadays it is too hot to wear make up! Face sweat and make up feel icky.

Have never worn it, even as a teen-ager. Both my face and hair are wash and go.

Only for special occasions.

I am a fiend for good moisterizer, though, and won't go without it.

I dont wear makeup too often but when I put it on...Its full on 'warpaint'. I have a HUGE stash in my makeup drawer and will coordinate my makeup to my clothing. The one thing that never changes is that for the past 5 yrs or so I have always stuck with Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer because its not heavy, I can use the same shade year round and it doesnt look cakey. But to do a full out 'warpaint' and hair and everything it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half. Mostly it just depends on how I want to do my hair if I scrunch it its quick if I dry it it can go on forever!

I won't walk out the door without make up on, my hey day was in the 60's where we wore very dark eyeliner and white lips. Nowadays tho I wear much lighter cosmetics as in less is better. By that I mean I wear a lot of makeup but it doesn't look like I do. I first apply moisturizer, I use Adrienne Arpel moisturizer which is a piggy back jar, the top is for under the eyes since it is more sensitive and the bottom of the jar is for your face and neck.I don't wear heavy foundations but wear the light make up powder, only use brown shadow, smokey of course. Eyeliner, mascara and blush so the whole deal, lately I've been wearing gloss rather than lipstick, sometimes both tho. When just running to the store I wear less make up but I could never go out with nothing at all on my face, I would hate to run into somebody I knew with a naked face. Luckily I have always had a nice complexion, it runs in the family so never had to worry about blemishes which is definitely a plus.

Do you have a lot of hair? That always kind of amazes/confuses me. I don't use a hairdryer (not coordinated enough), but I don't really need to. My hair is long and thin, it air dries in ~15 to 20 minutes.

I've thought about using a tinted moisturizer instead of a light foundation but have a lot of problems with sensitive skin and scents. I don't suppose anyone could recommend one that comes hypoallergenic and unscented - and for very very light skin?

I wear makeup everyday, but just eyes pretty much. Mascara and eyeshadow- blue, green or purple. I like colors.
Oh, and I usually wear sheer red tinted lip balm stuff, CoverGirl Lipslicks or something like that. Once in a while actual lipstick, but I prefer the lighter feeling of lipbalm.

I don't do foundation or blush, just moisturizer. Working my way through samples from the dermatologist, right now I'm on Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30.

Takes me about 5 minutes or so.

I almost never wear makeup. It's too expensive, I don't need it to feel good about myself, and personally think more women should just be themselves and go natural.

I love watching makeovers on t.v. because i'm sorry, but no matter how good someone looks without makeup they look even better with a bit on
I've seen people where a bit makeup has taken years off them

I love makeup, but I like it in neutral colors. If Im home, I usually wear tinted moisturizer. If Im just running errands, its usually primer, tinited moisturizer, mascara, eyeshadow.
If Im going out out, I will wear foundation.
I love makeup brushes, too.

I agree.... who a person is, is about who they are on the inside. Making yourself look more pleasing on the outside, is definitely fine.

I wear it to work, I'm a server. I get better tips! I think it's because it makes me feel that I look better, so I have more confidence, and do a better job. I sometimes wear it other times when I want to feel pretty.

Totally agree with you Pam. I don't need makeup to give me confidence because it's already there without it, i just love wearing it and i know i look much better with it on.

I've left strict instructions as well that when i die the full slap has to be applied because i don't want to scare the angels!

I got bare minerals for my birthday. It's the greatest make up ever. I love it, it's very light and natural, and good for your skin. I think it's organic too.

I have a TON of hair I keep the length to atleast 1+ inches below my bra band, I hate getting my hair cut because they always end up cutting it too short and I end up looking like one of the chipmunks. I trim it myself every so often with manicure scissors. Its not even the length thats the problem its the thickness that is killer. I could shave the middle of my head and still haven enough hair on my head to make wigs for 10 people! I have to use 2 hair ties at one time to keep it up in a pony tail without it falling out, and I can only manage to get about 3 wks usage out of those ponytails because my hair is so horrendously thick that it ends up stretching them out so bad I cant use them or they break and I only wrap them around my hair 2 maybe 3 times to get it to stay put. On average to dry and straighten my hair it takes at a minimum 1 hour but to do it right and section off my hair to straighten it its more like 2 hours. If I dry and it decide to curl it its closer to 3 hours because I have to take a break half way thru because my arms start to hurt from drying it and then using the curling iron. If my hair wasnt my biggest vanity I would chop it off so it was easier to manage but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair even if its a pain in the butt. Theres nothing better than doing my hair just to lay on the couch on BFs lap and have him run his fingers thru my hair massaging my scalp....Those moments are worth every second and every shoulder cramp

As for the tinted moisturizer, I dont have majorly sensitive skin but certain foundations and moisturizers will make me break out and thats one major reason I use Neutrogena so if you havent tried it check out their website and maybe youll be able to use their tinted moisturizer. I personally will never use anything else if I can help it.

Sorry for the novel

Here are some from makeupalley where they have a lot of people reviewing different products.

Here are some I just saw for sensitive and light skin....

Biotherm Aquateinte 01

Boots No7 Illuminating Tinted moisturizer in Fair (this is sold at Target, with great reviews on the Boots No7 line) Check out review on other sites for the Boots No7 line, if its not thoroughly covered on the above website.

You may want to try something that is Non-Comedogenic.

makeupartistchoice has some excellent products. I have used several and highly recommend them. Im not sure if they have an tinted moisturizers for sensitive skin, but Im sure they offer treatment for sensitive skin so that you will have better luck wearing other products that are not hypoallergenic.
