Last night hubby and I were coming home late from a shopping trip. We stopped at the local Food Lion to pick up a few things. They have two long rows of carts just outside the door on the sidewalk area. When I walked up there, I saw a cat run under the carts. When I looked closer there were about four of them. They were half grown to grown cats. When I went in the store, I asked one of the workers there if they knew there were cats outside under the carts. He said they go there every night. I wish I could take them all, but I am supposing they are feral cats. I live in a very rural area where there is nothing except animal control and I am not sure we still have that. But it just reminded me how tender a spot I have in my heart for cats. I love them all.

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

Have you done any searches or made any calls to see if there are any TNR groups in the area? Around here, if people called any of the local vets to ask if there were any "crazy cat people" that might be willing to help, they'd take your name and number and actually have several people to call who might get back to you.
