Hello Hello everyone-

I am up with my foster kitten Mouse who is about 8 weeks old. Him and his sister Sprinkles are both on Clavamox for a URI as of yesterday.

Today I got home and Mouse was having trouble breathing : ( I want to say it is just from nose congestion and he will open his mouth to breathe. I took him into the shower for a steam bath and he seemed to be doing a bit better after that. Right now he is sleeping with his sister and is pretty quite.

He has a healthy apitite, shows interest in playing even though he gets tired, and is drinking. Just to be safe I put Pedylite in some of his wet food.

I'm very worried about him right now. Is there anything else I can do for him? Thanks!

Poor sweetie....I am sending for the little guy. Maybe heat up a rice pack so he keeps nice and warm.

Someone will come along shortly with more help.

If he is getting worse it may not hurt to let the vet know. You are on the right track with the steam in the bathroom. My Starbuck had a bad URI when she was six week old and she had the same symptoms you are describing. I am not familar with using Pedialyte. It is good that the kitten is eating. Keep an eye on his food consumption to make sure it stays that way.
