My left knee has been hurting me for weeks and weeks. It started hurting around the time I was having really bad sciatic nerve pain on my right side. I went to the chiropractor for my back a few times and then for massage. The nerve pain went away, but then my left knee started to get sore from my having been limping on that leg so much from the back pain.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the pain was not gone, but very much less. So much less that I didn't even need to use a cane. Yesterday and today it's back to being very sore and needing a cane to walk. I've been overloading on Alleve and Tylenol #3 every 4 hours and using ice packs, and nothing is helping very much.
I called my doctor today and asked if I could get an xray of the knee. I'm starting to think it's cartilage damage and lots of inflammation. I just hope he isn't going to tell me I need a knee replacement or something!!!!
