I'm moving and am trying to figure out a route, right now all I know is I'm getting a pizza in Mystic CT! But I wanted to go route 209 through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area, but I havent seen that particular route listed as a scenic route, plenty of other routes are though. Does anyone know if it is worth driving, I'm not going to get out and hike around since I'll have my 7 cats and 2 dogs but I would like to see as much as I can while I'm passing through.
If anyone has any suggestions for other places to see/eat/ etc there's a chance I'll be going by! I'm going all the way to WA and plan to see a few sights along the way.

Where are you going from/to? I got confused with mystic pizza, CT and WA.

The region around the Delaware Water Gap in PA is beautiful. What route are you taking?

Truckers used to call that the "Ho Chi Minh Trail." But trucks are no longer allowed on that road. Yes, it's scenic.

I'm going from ME to WA (two years ago I went from WA to ME, good grief!) And I guess the route I'm taking inclues 209 in PA
Not really sure where else. We're stopping in Elizabethtown, KY and I want to go on a route through the Ozarks, but we'll see...I'd better hurry up and figure it out though!

The Delaware Water Gap area is gorgeous. I used to live about 20 miles away from the Gap when I lived in New Jersey. Very scenic.
