I also couldn't risk the certain for the uncertain. The NY company called me afterwords with another offer, but it was too late, I had already signed a contract... oh well


I start Monday!
No more unemployment!
No more not having what to eat, or how to pay my bills!

I will have to go to Florida for the first two weeks though for training, and I miss my kitties already.... But I already got it all figured it out - They are letting me come back for the weekend to be with them!
I am having my vet tech to come by once a day to feed, love, clean the boxes and give Bugsy his meds in the evening; and my neighbor is coming by to feed the morning meals.
I am also having another friend stopping by every couple of days - they will be triple checked!
The kitty cam will be on 24x7 so I can check on them

I am elated... I am soooooo very happy!!
I am going to be a National Sales Manager for a great company, and I just can not wait to start!
It is going to be absolutely positively AWESOME!

Oh Carolina! How wonderful and thrilling for you, and for your cats! I will read the whole thread in a bit, but I am only just seeing this now and wanted to tell you how happy I am for you.

I can't wait to start! I just can't wait to work my butt off again, and to make myself proud every day! I miss that... I love working, and it has been so hard... But it is all behind me now, and I am looking forward to a beautiful and bright future!

Ready for the challenge.... YES! Packed????? No! I never pack in advance... I am waiting for the cat sitter to get here to show her around... She is my vet tech and I am sooooo relieved she will be with them!
She loves my babies!
I can not wait - it will be awesome! Absolutely awesome!
