I just noticed it a couple days ago, any idea how soon she might give birth?

What signs are you seeing? A normal domestic cat pregnancy is about 9 weeks. Her nipples will enlarge and turn bright pink at around 21 days. Her belly will start looking rounder at about 5 weeks, although this can vary a lot depending on how big the cat is to begin with and how many kittens she has. Generally you can feel the babies moving about two weeks before she delivers.

The only sign is that her tummy is round, doesn't look like its about to burst, but definately rounded, and very firm when I feel it. Her normal size is a little smaller than average cats and she is at a healthy weight. I have never looked at her nipples so I don't know what they normally look like.

So she is likely around 5 weeks?

A normal cats nipples are hardly visible and not big, but when they are pregnant thay are quite large and very pink- the hair around them also begins to fall off

Have you had her checked by your vet to make sure all is well? If not, you should do that and then your vet can give you a better estimate.

Can you post a picture?

If her belly is just getting round without any other signs of pregnancy, she might just be eating really well.

I can't post a picture, but I do know the difference between being overweight and pregnant and she is very definantly pregnant. If not, she would be more squishy but she is very firm.

Then you have a pregnant cat!
If you can, get her to lie down and put your hand on her belly to see if you can feel any mouvment.

Don't be surprised if she doesn't like you messing with her belly. I have a very sweet cat but she doesn't tolerate me touching her belly.

I'd guess she's around 5 weeks then. That's about the time that I noticed mine was showing signs of pregnancy. Well, actually I got her pregnant and wasn't told she was pregnant so I was very shocked to find that out. I think they'd have to be around 5 weeks for it to be outward enough that a person that doesn't know the cat, can recognize the signs. Mine is due any day now.
