Any one who has had this happen knows how much it sucks! I'm ok, no broken bones, but very sore and here's why..........
A large tool box (the ones with wheels that you cart around) that was up on a shelf fell on my back from 10-12 feet up. The corner of it landed on my shoulder blade, and it was totally the idiots fault that was helping me get what I needed. He kept knocking into the toolboxes and I warned him! As soon as I turned, BOOM right on my back............ Had to spend half the day in the ER, x-rays came back clean, but my back is bruised and tender
. I am lucky it wasn't something more serious, but it is still such a pain in the ASS!
Now I have to make sure my employer pays the bill.......

If it's an on the job injury, you should be compensated by your employer. You have rights!

That whole thing sounds so scary. It could have been so much worse.

Take care of yourself!

It could have hit your head! that could have been a whole other issue!

I hope you feel better and just take it easy for the rest of your time home. I would think even though you only have 1 day you should be allowed more as this happened at work and technically, it is their fault.

Exactly - I'm glad it didn't hit your face. He better be careful next time. Feel better.

I have no idea how your system works, but yes, make sure your employer pays the bill..... I can explain how it works here, but that won't help you a lot.

All I can say is don't let your employer bully you into not claiming it. ( I got that the first incident )

Glad you weren't hurt badly, that really could have done some serious damage

Ouch! I'm glad you weren't seriously injured. It sounds like you could easily have been. I hope you heal up quickly.

You are going to be sore tomorrow!

I concur with the others-its a work related injury you should not have any out of pocket expenses.

Thanks every one for the vibes, I am feeling better just very bruised. I was back to work today and found out they fired/released 10 people yesterday
.... Good day to be out, especially since I wasn't one of them!
