Most of the computer chairs that are out these days have some kind of way to adjust the backs of them. Simply tie one of the cat toys(the kind that have about a foot or more of elastic attached to a toy) to this. By leaving more slack in the line you can hold the elasticand make the toy bounce, swing... whatever they seem to prefer! I saw this done at my mothers house and was surprised how well it works. Also I've found the girls playing with it when I come home from work, it kind of sways back and forth off the ground. Maybe more of us will find we can type with less mistakes, without four paws on the keyboard!!! Hope this helps ya'll

Zoey likes to climb straight up the back of my leather chair when I'm on the computer.

I don't have any leather, but a LazyBoy(that cost more than the couch.) I would swear that's their favorite piece of furniture!!

Please don't leave the toys dangling... the toy could wrap around the kitties neck and strangle your baby. All toys with strings should be used under supervision only.

Funny I should read this post just when Faile has made herself comfy on my lap. I think she likes to supervise whatever I am doing.

Sicy, my cats try to climb up the back of my s/o's computer chair, not at the same time. It's not leather, it's cloth, but he still doesn't want them on it since they get hair all over it, imagine that. Guess what chair they love the most

Snowball likes to sit, lay or stand right in front of my monitor. I can't use toys with elastic attached because he pulls really hard on the toy and breaks the elastic. In the past, I have tried using a wand toy to play with him while I was reading threads, but that didn't work either. So now I just try to keep him on my lap when I'm here.

lol!

I also refuse to use any kind of elastic, long string/yarn or feathers for Zoey's toys when I'm not around. (Geez that rules out a lot of toys
lol) Zoey eats her toys, so now she just gets mice with no tails, kirby sticks
catnip pillows, ping pong balls and peacock feathers (under my supervision).

If a dangling toy hung on my office chair, I would be afraid of accidentally rolling over my cat's paw or something.... Heck, I worry about that now, LOL!

Love that pic of Oscar sitting in front of the keyboard....mine love to "help" with e-mails and the like.....but they all have different ways of doing it. Here is Shenji Michaela - "Mickey" - she created a cubby near to the computer.....

and then the two older girls "Angel"(Sharada Shes An Angel) and "Missy" (Sharada Shes A Shakti) decided the top of the photo copier wasn't half bad......

and then of course "Magic" - (Larouge Mochachino Magic) fancies my chair!!! How did we work without their help.
