We're getting very close now

I'm high risk due to a previous stillbirth and my previous heart surgery, and I had a c section last time, so my doctor doesn't want me going past 39 weeks.

So I'm booked in for a c section on May 14th at 10am, which is 2 weeks away!!! If I go into labour on my own before that, they'll let me try for a regular delivery (but it would be very controlled), so I'm hoping she comes on her own so I can avoid surgery.

So in one way or another, I will have a baby in my arms in exactly 2 weeks!

I've been telling her I would really appreciate her coming sooner rather than later, but her grandmother is telling her to wait as long as possible
My mum gets here on May 19, and she's so bummed to be missing the birth, but she's reassured by the fact that the baby will still be very young by the time she arrives

Things are going well though, I'm being monitored very closely, and so far things are looking great - woohoo!

I've been eating pineapple, walking up and down stairs, and doing whatever I can to bring on labour
I thought I was going to be delivering on Wednesday - I had every sign, but nothing came of it.

So exciting!! I had c-section March 1st, and it was no fun at all, but it took only 3 weeks for me to feel like I was able to function again!! I wish you the absolute best of luck and no matter how little one gets here as long as she and you are both healthy! Cant wait to see pictures!!!!!
