As much as I would enjoy having either one of those as an option its just not. More than likely after BF and I move this house will get torn down to put up another barn for the farm so Im not really willing to spend that kind of money upgrading the house when its not mine to begin with. The only bonus is that we have an electric hot water heater and the wood stove is our primary heat but we do still have to fill the tanks for the winter for at night.
I will do some research on Cap and Trade though cuz Ill be honest I dont know squat about it. I only know that my electric bill has skyrocketed this year and I hate winter because of the high cost of oil. I dont even like driving because of how much gas costs and wont fill my gas tank until Ive got enough gas points racked up to make it worth while.
