I've known many cats who ate vegetables. My brother's cats run from one who will eat almost anything, to one who won't eat anything but dry kibble.

Just like people, cats vary in their likes and dislikes.

the above is many of our experiences ... veggies are not required for a healthy cat( as naturally they would make up roughly 3-5% of a diet)

Mine will eat anything, veg or fruit. Nothing is safe!

I can't eat a salad without Ari sticking his nose in it. He loves iceberg lettuce.

Ginger does not like veggies. It does not stop her from sniffing my veggie wrap, She will beg lilke a puppy, but just wants a good sniff of what I am eating. It is funny, sleeping cat, wakes up, sniffs, rolls over like a silly with a a most stellar flop.

Does it mean that it's okay if Charlie is not eating veggies?

it is a debate... a true wild cat diet has 3-5% greens but these are things like stomach contents of prey .. in other words already digested ... My girl who hated veggies lived to nearly 19 so I am guessing no veggies and some veggies = kitty s choice
