...yeah..he thinks it hilarious.
I could steal ever single one of those adjectives for my cats but I will think of my own. Thats more fun.

ReeRee : Persistent (tyrant)
Fiona: Highstrung (if that is two words-sue me
)(Irritable)
Rocko: Mellow (Amicable)

one word? i can try!
Pixel - accepting
Cable - demanding
Java - welcoming
Chip - placid
Firefox - energetic

Pixel has put up w/a lot of changes during her time with me - a new kitten [then 3 more new cats/kittens], her sister passing, etc. she still gets along w/everyone & is a joy to have around the house.

Cable - moved in, took over alpha after Mouse died. doesn't hesitate to let everyone [including me!] that SHE'S the boss! shoves her face into mine when i'm on the phone, sits on my arm when i'm trying to type, etc. pushes stuff off the refrigerator just to get attention...

Java - loves every person she meets! must be petted immediately by anyone who walks in the door. mews piteously until said petting is done

Chip - fat & lazy, what can i say? very affectionate, but only on his terms - beware attempting to stroke his hind end or nuzzle his fluffy belly!

Firefox - still only 3 years old, runs all over the house like a maniac much more often than anyone else. has recently begun sitting w/me, but not a lap kitty - prefers the foot area.

Much - Diva (the whole house revolves around her)
Carly - Cuddly (Cuddling with her is pure bliss)
Lucy - PITA (ok - acronym standing in for four words, but this is now her middle name)

I'm sorry I can't do that. I'll need at least 2 words. The first word that comes to mind for both is sweet. But they're very different. But both such little sweethearts.

Muffin is very lovable. As for Mattie, she is just a persnickity little female.

I MUST change my one-word description of Lazlo! As Lazlo fell of jumping up on the cat tree today, we remembered his usual one word description: SPAZ!

He may be crazy - but it's PART of his being a spaz! It's why his named worked out perfectly, because he IS

Laz the Spaz!

Archie- bossy
Jake- athletic
Prowler - whiny
Rex - reserved
Tex - nutcase
Ghost- autistic
Casper- chicken(timid)

And I love them all for their quirks and in spite of them... still trying to rehome Cas tho - he really needs fewer cats around... He
people once he gets to know them a little bit.

Lex - shy... painfully shy

Almost 9 and just as shy as the day I brought him home from the shelter at 5mos old. They told me he was shy, but I thought he'd grow out of it.

Unless I tell people I have a cat, casual visitors do not even know he exists. Those who do know have never seen him. As soon as he hears footsteps at the front door, he dashes away to his special hiding place in the attic and stays there until the interlopers leave.

I've always wanted a social cat I can show off, but I've learned long ago to accept him just as he is. He's special in his own big way.

How about...furry?

OK, too general.

Punkin = Boss
Sterling = Lover
Ella = Relieved
Flambe = Indefatigable

For Cleo, I only seem to be able to come up with two word combinations:

Cleo - laid-back, easy-going.....ahhh....Serene works!

Lola - Independent

Maggie - Timid

I wanted to say Genever = Awesome. BF thought that was too general. So... hmm..

He says Genever is Loyal.

I don't totally agree with that. If I can't say she's awesome (she really is, in every way!!), I will say Genever is Determined.

one word???? eeek! Come on Laurie - you should know that it's not possible to stop a cat person talking about their kitties

Ah well, I'll have a go......

Lily ~ Royalty
Tolly ~ skittish
Addie ~ scaredy
Felicity ~ fluffball

Lily is the Queen of our house...and she knows it. But she has the most adorable, loving character and would just wants to mother everything. She likes keeping her humans rounded up on one spot so she can keep any eye on them

Tolly is adorable but skittish. I fear the setback of his first human passing away and the trauma of finding a new home knocked his confidence. But he is such a lapcat.

Addie is gorgeous. But will always be her scared feral/stray self. Still....she loves her home and purrs like a train when we have a fuss-session

Felicity is a marshmallow of a cat. If we had known about inside cats when we first got her she would have made a tremendous indoor kitty. She is loving and soft with the cutest character. Shame she has resisted all attempts to become an indoor kitty - at 9 years I fear she is too set in her ways.

Sorry Laurie - I started well and then couldn't resist talking about them
