I'm very curious about something. When there are several veterinarians working at one practice, how do they get paid? Do they get paid by the hour? Or, does the individual veterinarian get paid by how much money the owner spends at a visit?

Also, when veterinarians decide not to charge you for something that they're supposed to, does that come out of that particular veterinarian's salary?

I have this theory about some veterinarians and I'd like to see if it's true. That's why I'm asking this.

It depends on the agreement they have with the vet owner, there is one clinic nearby that has vets on salary and another where they are paid by the visit (I am not sure if it based on how much people spend at that visit)

Depends on what type of practice and the individual agreements. I know of some that are on a production type salary and also a base.
