Noodles has been fascinated with our refrigerator since we moved in this house, nearly a year ago now. She will come running when she hears the water going into the ice maker. She used to sit there and stare for hours at it too.
We caught her pulling the power cord out from behind it once, taped that to the back better and she left it alone. But then she started going for the water line; which runs up the side of the back there. The broom and dust pan were keeping her out; but last night I caught her red pawed with the water line in her mouth. But it was too late. She punctured it several times.
Boy was I mad at her!! Of course when I caught her I had was in the middle of making dinner, the baby was crying and DH couldn't hear me hollering over the fan in the bathroom....
I need some ideas on how to keep her out of there! The refrigerator is right next to some light switches and the door to the garage; so I can't put any furniture type things. It's also very visible when you walk to the living room so I'd like to find an attractive way to block her out. All my scolding and redirecting is just not thwarting her curiosity anymore. DH and I are missing our water already. I hope replacing that line is an easy fix.
