how he got up there. He wanted a dragon fly that was in here.

BTW- he's not allowed on the counter and he knows this and jumped down onto a TV tray. Not sure if he's allowed up there, if it happens again I'll have to decide.

Hmm... whats this?

NOTHING buzzing around in the air survives in MY house!!! You should look at the Simon's Cat animation re: a fly in the house. Here is the link:

It's a hoot! And SOOOO true!

Yeah, no bug lives here long, Attitude and Nuts get them(or I do, otherwise they will), Nuts found out over the weekend that moths don't taste good(I didn't even know they had it until he spit it out at my feet.)

Hehe, he's an explorer! My cats used to jump up above the cabinets at our old place. I didn't mind, until one of them misjudged a big leap up there and shattered a glass cabinet door with her back feet. Amazingly she did not get hurt.

When Attitude(her and Nuts are litter mates and partners in crime) was 8 weeks old and still outside I had her her first vet appointment and then set about finding her. I found her walking around on Mitzi's roof and there were 3 black kittens lounging up there laying down in Mitzi's gutters up on the roof. They were all happy, they figured out how to climb the tree to get into Mitzi's roof. The ones outside still get on Mitzi's roof or climb up onto our roof. You'll heard thunking around on the roof and just say "Cats." Mitzi has the same experience of hearing them prancing around on the roof. Goldie(one of the mom cats) was climbing trees and to the roof the day right after her spay and they all do it, except Mama, but she has never been into climbing anything. To get on our roof they have to climb the latticework(and it is awesome to watch them do it, just how coordinated they are at doing it) outside either all the way up to the roof or up to the shed so they can jump to get on top of the shed and then onto the roof, Mitzi' is easy, all they have to do is climb a tree.

So exploring high places and loving it is in his genes.

Aww! Cute! That's the best view!

My kitties used to jump onto the corner of the counter by the fridge, then up onto the top of the fridge and then up onto the top of the cupboards. Now their are either too old and can't (Chynna) or too fat to bother (Abby). But it was their favourite place to be at one time.

When Abby first started going up there, she couldn't figure out how to get back down again. When she wanted down, she would meow and meow at me, and then finally put her paws down the side of the wall and then jump down onto the deep freezer. That was fine while she was a kitten, but as she grew it was hard on her. Eventually I managed to teach her to go down the reverse of how she got up. One day she was meowing and meowing to the point she sounded distressed. So I went to the fridge and coaxed her to come to me, and eventually she did. After that she could get up and down no problem.

The only good thing about this is that if he was chasing a dragon fly he probably doesn't even know how he did it.
But he sure took advantage once he realized he was up there to check it all out!
