Question of the Day - Wednesday, April 28, 2010

It is my honor and privilege to be asked to the Wednesday QOTD.

I thought long and hard for this first question.


If you could travel back in time to anyplace, any event, where would you travel to and why?


For me, I would like to travel to many places and times, but I will only list two.

I would like to travel to Jerusalem and see Solomon's Temple. From reading the Bible, I can just imagine the grandeur of it. It must have been beautiful.

I would also travel back to when Jesus walked the earth and sit in on the Sermon on the Mount. It would have been an awesome experience.

OOOOOOHHHHH to many to choose from i could go on all day haha

(per chance have you been watching Quantum Leap to ask this question )

Id love to go back in time to see the Dinosaurs as the contentients started splitting

and another one would be to go back when Henry VIII was in power and be part of the court for the day, theres something very fasinating about that era

I would go back to my grandparent's 50th anniversary party. I come from a huge family, so I would get to see and spend time with everyone who has passed on. I was just a kid, but I'd make it work somehow.

I would go back to the garden of eden and tell Adam and Eve to leave the frickin' tree alone!

Id go back to the Civil War times. About a year before it actually started. One because I LOVE learning about the Civil War (or the War of Northern Aggression to the southerners out there) and 2 because its always been a little fantasy of mine to wear one of those old southern hoop skirt dresses...preferably one just like Scarlett O`Hara's....LOL..Yup love the movie Gone with the Wind

I would travel back to the year 1800 so I could ask my ancestors where they were before they came to NC.

Good one. I think I would like to do something UFO like or nature like. Not sure.

I would love to go back to 1902, Peru, Indiana and meet my crazy relative (the one I have a photo of) protecting all her cats with a shot gun. If she didn't shoot me I would like to thank her for passing down that cat-loving-gene. We could sip some moonshine and talk about cats all day...great question!!!!!!!!!!!

That's hilarious.

I would like to go back to when Jesus was alive and really see what happened with his resurrection e.t.c.... it would be very interesting, I am not a religious person but I really would like to do that as I think it would answer many people's questions. x

There are few things I'd go back in time for. I'm more interested in the future than the past.

My family lives near there and you got the towns right for Woodstock.

I'd go back to the Roaring Twenties to see the flappers and to prevent Hitler from coming into power.

I'd like to go back to New England in the 1940s. The 40s are a time that intrigues me My grandma tells me stories about it sometimes and said it was definitely a fun era, if you dont count the war happening at that time!

Yes I would like to meet to Jesus too in his age my friend, I would like to see the Multiplicity of the Fishes & the Breads.... I heard in some place a funnie theorie about that miracle my friend...

BUT just for fun I would love to meet the moment where ARQUIMEDES said...EUREKA!...
