Good morning folks

Todays totally random question is:

Do you wear perfume/cologne? If so, what kind? Daily or just when you are say going out for dinner or the like?

I wear it whenever I go out. White tea and Ginger by Bath and Body. I love it. I have the body soap, cologne, hand sanitizer and lotion.

Usually I feel like there's such an overload of smells from my shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body lotion and hair products that I feel like if I put on perfume the smells will mix and I will start to reek of so many different scents, and not in a good way.
Some of the perfumes I have are all a gift from my mom so I wear things that are her taste and she has a bit of a strange taste, she likes spicy smells that aren't floral at all.
So the perfumes I have are Givenchy's Organza, one by bulgari, and one i bought for myself is Estee Lauder's beyond paradise which smells more like flowers, which is what my taste in perfumes leans on. But I can appreciate spicy smells also. And my favorite one is Burberry brit red, it's awesome but they don't sell it anymore.

I prefer perfume and my main one is Cliniques Happy or Inis Or. I usually put some on when I go out either shopping or for dinner. I find that a lot of people (men or women) overload themselves with a scent and it hits you like a brick wall and then lingers for a bit.

At least you realize this. Most people don't realize that with everything they use that they're over scented.

I don't wear any, either. I'm not allergic to it because it's not possible to be - perfumes are chemical irritates, not proteins. It does make me cough like crazy and get a bad headache. If the smell is sweet enough (floral scents
) I'll gag and get nauseous.

A person smells best just by being clean. Perfumes were originally made to hide the fact that people weren't.
(and for rituals, of course)

I just spritz myself with bodyspray stuff, usually from Bath & Body. On occasion when I'm going out, I'll wear actual perfume. I find the strong smells give me a headache so I just wear light scents.

Only occasionally....sometimes it can make me sick...I am sensitive to smells. But when I do feel like putting on something special I have a few favorites:

Beach by Bobbi Brown...it really does smell like the beach...heavenly!

Annick Goutal....I forget which one precisely...Les something-something

Lili fragrances made in bermuda. I got a sample pack of all their fragrances when I was down there on a cruise and they are all really feminine pretty smells. I feel so pretty and special when I wear them.

I got away from wearing scent of any kind a good many years ago, and don't miss it. In fact, now I find it more oppressive than ever if there are scents around me that are too heavy. Why do some people need to marinate in the stuff? I never did wear scent to work, but couldn't now, since my workplace is fragrance free.

At my bachelorette party, a friend gave me 6 huge bottles of body spray. 1.5 years later, I'm probably 1/2 done with 1.
So I'll be wearing body spray the rest of my life. I try to remember to put it on every morning.

I wear a light cologne only when I'm going out. I also wear the matching lotion for my hands and body so I have the same scent going on.

I wear perfume every day but its not strong. Most of the time I wear Ralph Lauren Romance. I have a couple of others (harajuku and all of the baby phat scents) that I wear sometimes.

I wear natural oils that are "in the style of" Aliage (discontinued by Estee Lauder) and Dolce & Gabana. Also their signature scent Nob Hill Vistas. I wear 1 of them daily. They are not overpowering because they are oils without alcohol in them.

Very rarely because I cannot afford myself: Estee Lauder's Cinnabar and Yves Saint- Laurent's Opium. About the only 'cheap' stuff I can wear is Coty's Navy with cheap being relative here - 30.00 is cheap compared to the other two at mega bucks per ounce.

$30 for Navy seems expensive. I have seen it for less than $10 at Wal Mart.
