DEAR MYRAGE AND RAPUZEL47
I'm afraid the next two sets of questions can be answered very quickly;
I don't have a cellphone now. I had one for 10 years when my mom was in failing health I needed to be called for emergencies. It was just a basic phone-no extra stuff on it. I went through 2 phones in that period of time. When she died I got rid of it. I had missed a lot of work caring for her and ended up having issues with money. So I cut out a lot of the frills I had and the phone was one of them. I do have a land line though. Wouldn't ever give3 that up!! I don't spend a lot of time on it. You know I would rather talk to someone face to face.
Now Rapunzel47, I have done a little bit of traveling, but never been out of the country. Always wanted to visit Canada and Germany. In fact, I am saving my money to go to Berlin and Paris next fall (2011). I am pretty excited about it. I am trying to learn some basic phrases in German and French--but it's difficult. The friend I am going with is fluent in both languages so that will help tremendously!!!! I never had the desire to go to a foreign country. Americans aren't always welcomed, but the chance came up and I jumped on it!!! Now, I bet you have done some traveling. Have you been to Germany or Paris? Any advice on traveling abroad is welcomed!! Thanks To All for the questions!!! Have a Great Day
