Oscar is being picky with his BB lifesource bits

My kitty, Oscar has been on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken formula dry and a variety of canned. He isn't a fan of canned but eats certain ones better than others. Anyways over the last few days he has been picking out the lifesource bits. He will eat them eventually but not first. I also had mixed a small bag of Wellness Core in the dry as i got it on sale. He likes that too. I really like BB but I know the bits are the vitamins. How many cats here are picky towards them? I want to keep him on BB if possible. Also on the canned foods he tends to like the cheaper stuff better. He really likes, heaven forbid, Fancy Feast, and will eat that all in one sitting. I only get the varieties with just meat and no glutens and badness. He also likes BB slices in gravy, and Tiki Cat canned once in a while. He is a picky little bugger, but I want to feed him the best I can.

I have heard that a lot in the stores when I talk to BB users. I have heard of them not eating the bits at all. As for wet food my Chester Cheetah likes chunks and sauce too. Not a fan of pate's. He eats Nutro Natural Choice Chunks and Sauce formula's. I believe there are 7 total in Adult & Senior formulas. Sometime I will throw in the Nutro Max Cat too which has about 8 different formulas. He tends to like the them all as long as they aren't pate's. He is a stinker! I guess since he is a senior boy he can be.
