Petco had an awesome sale on NB so they didn't have the kind I use which is the Ultra Premium so I got a bag of SG indigo moon.

I have the NB in one bowl and the SG in a different one so now to see what they like more and hope they will eat the SG or they are going to be hungry because I'm not going to be able to NB until Petco restocks it, not to mention the SG(and it's grain free) is $1 cheaper when not on sale and $1 is a $1 and I'll take that.

Need some like the new stuff vibes and for Attitude not to turn into a fatter pig because of it.

Is that dry food? You should mix them together, starting with a small amount of the new food and gradually adding more until they've fully switched over to the new food. You risk upset tummies otherwise.

I'm about out of the NB so that really won't work. Like I said I have a bowl of each out for them. They are eating both equally or so it appears. I'm going to do this until I run out of the NB(and it won't be long I'm about out.) If I had known that Petco was going to be out of MB I would have bought the SG while I still had enough to do a proper transition.

Attitude and Nuts both have iron stomachs, they ate whatever I fed them outside(and it was whatever was the cheapest or if Mitzi bought us a bag of food) so it could vary wildly from, Kit N Caboodle to Friskies dry, to special kitty kitten, to cat chow, to meow mix, authority kitten, NB(until a 15 lb bag of NB lasted about a week or 2 because everyone outside was getting huge) you get the point. No on ever suffered from any tummy upset, that I saw. The outside ones are only fed Cat Chow now. I'll keep an eye on them to make sure there are any kitty surprises anywhere, but they should be fine. I honestly have never really transitioned cats with different foods, so far I've had iron stomach kitties who can handle it. If one has an upset tummy I'll slow the transition but both bowls have 1/4 cup of food and they refused to eat them mixed together, I guess that's another thing to mention, they prefer them separated. I guess the flavor of the NB clashes with the SG.

Yesterday was just weird, they just weren't too into eating to begin with(before the transition.) They really still aren't I'm wondering they had a 3rd helping of food yesterday because normally by now I'd have 2 empty stainless steel bowls.

Like I said they've ate about the same amount out of both bowls so I'm assuming they like it they have been running around bouncing off the walls so I doubt they have upset tummies.

I will keep an eye out for upset tummies or nasty litter boxes(I already deal with one of those with that $$$% calico, I swear I get more crap out of her litter box than I do out of the 4 I have in here, not to mention it reeks. I know it's the difference in food but it's really bad. At least she's litterbox trained and I'm not having to clean cat poo out of the kennel but if you approach it you know there's a nasty litter box inside it.

OK got off topic sorry. I will keep an eye on them to make sure it agrees with the 2 of them. They seem to be getting back to their normal eating Nuts is chowing down like he hasn't been fed in a month(the bowls have been down all night so it's not like they've been without food, but this is when I normally feed them.) Attitude is too busy sleeping(all she does is eat and sleep and lay around and be fat) to eat right now.
