Hi. I adopted my friend's blue point himalayan. She is 8 months old and small and very feminine. Her name is Bella. It suits her but I missed out on naming her and I would have named her Bianca. It's pretty and different and means white. I am thinking of changing it which do you prefer?

Doesn't matter what we prefer. Choose a name you think fits, and suits you.

As a friend of Garfield's owner said, why name something that won't come when you call, anyway?

I like both. Just wanted to hear what other people liked.

Well, of course I love Bella. But Bianca is a very pretty name also. It sounds like you might be leaning toward that name. If it suits her better than Bella then go for it.

I like Bella, never really liked the name Bianca. But Its all really up to you! Whatever suits her best is good.

They are both lovely names. From your description of the kitty, I think I lean toward Bianca, too. Why don't you just try it on for size. If she responds to it, there's your answer. If not, well, that's an answer too. In the end, you can call her pretty much anything and if it doesn't resonate with her, you might as well pick a name out of the phone book.
She'll let you know what she wants.
