Hi
all,
Hope everyone is well today, I'm feeling good today, its lovely and warm here, I think summer may be finally be coming
We have been looking at renting a new house and its gorgeous, our ideal home. Our current house we have virtually no privacy and we are not happy in the area we live in and my daughter isn't very happy at school. We found this house to rent and its a detatched house surrounded by fields and the location and area is great, the schools have got excellent reports, the garden is just ginormous and the kids would be so happy with it, there are even cows in the field at the bottom of the garden
and we have just fallen in love with it. We met the landlord on thursday night and he is great, he wants long term tenants and said that we could treat the house like our own and if he was to turf us out in the first 5 years he would re-imburse us any costs that we have paid out
It is too good to be true. We want this more than anything in the world but we have to find alot of money upfront for rent and deposit and estate agent fees. I phoned my grandad earlier to ask if he could help us out with a loan, he said his money is tied up in a fixed rate account but he really wants to help us and to leave it with him. I am praying that he can help us, I have never asked him for anything and I feel bad for asking but we sooooo want this house. Please can I have some vibes that it all works out, if it does we will be moving in 4 weeks
I have attached a pic of the house. xx

Why were we born beautiful, instead of rich?

That is a really nice house.

Sending vibes that you are able to get he necessary funds together.

Just curious...what sort of rent would that fetch? Usually, rent is a bargain, but there are some areas that it seems impossible to find reasonable rent. And, of course, we have no idea what UK rents are like.

Right now, if you're willing to rent here in the U.S., you can find a real bargain.

It needs some work doing and if we do the work ourselves the landlord is willing to fix the rent for the first 3 years to £450 per calender month which is a real bargain for this kind of house over here. If he were to do the work himself the estate agent said it would fetch £700 per calender month, so we think it will work out much better to do the work ourselves and also we can do it up to how we like it

I really really hope this works out for you!
It sounds like a great location, and it's a good deal that the landlord can work out for you.
