As some of you may remember, my 14yo male was critically ill with a very serious case of fatty liver disease. Several weeks ago, on a Thursday evening I reluctantly decided it was time to end his suffering. When I woke up Friday morning, I just couldn't do it so I decided to wait through the weekend and take him to the vet on Monday. Over the weekend my friend built a little pine box so Bleu could rest under the oak tree in my back yard. As it turned out, that Friday evening Bleu drank some water, and by Saturday morning he started to eat. Good think I had a change of mind about putting him down. He's come around tremendously.
The recovery process is hard work! Lot's of rest and relaxtion is vital. I'd say Bleu has this part of the treatment plan down to a fine art!
