Today is Muddy's and Koko's (and their brothers Jake and Elwood's) 7th birthday. Even though they were born feral, I saw them within hours of their birth - a very pregnant feral cat showed up at our house one day. I saw her as I left for work 7 years ago today and when I came home, she was nursing a litter of 4 kittens just off my front porch. In spite of the shelter I built around all of them, a predator killed the mom about 10 days later (she probably came out of the shelter to protect her young).
So I brought them inside and hand raised them.

A friend adopted Jake and Elwood when they were 5 weeks old so that she could bond better through bottle feeding them.
Here they are about 8 weeks old:

And more

They've always been bonded to each other, even as adults. Muddy plays mostly with his sister to this day.

Happy birthday my little babies!!
