Jack's Last Show this Season

This coming weekend in Minneapolis, MN will be his last show for the season. Wish us luck please - I'd like to get 6 finals, but hope to get at least 4 - it will be the most alters he's had to compete against for the season and 80-90% of them will be Grands like he is.

We have a 10 ring show and also hope to end the season with a triple Grand (needs 20 pts to do it).

New season starts next weekend.

Jacky, we have 2 shows in May to start the new season. I've heard that CFA was proposing to accept Open finals pts to go towards the Grand Champion pts - but not sure if it passed or will start with the May shows.

Would it be to late for Cleo if it passed since she finaled as a open last year.
I never heard about that.
I have 2 shows in May also.
The May 8th CFA show and either the Reno CFA show or the Arcadia TICA show.
Both are on May 15th/16th.
Also how many times can i show in CFA with out a reg number.

CFA is debating this decision at their next Annual, so it will not take effect for some time. I personally know two delegates who are attending, and can post here when I know more. The annual will take place June 23-27th.

They are not finals points however. In CFA, a cat requires 6 winners ribbons to obtain champion designation. Winners ribbons are awarded to 'open' cats per colour class so it is not very difficult to obtain the 6 needed. Usually they are won during the course of one day, if the cat is not disqualified for not meeting the standard.

The amendments are here:

Jacky - you can only show in the kitten class 4-8 months without a number. Once the cat is 8 months and is in the championship or premier class, it has to have a number as an Open.

Thanks
That is what I thought.
