I've had my op and I'm home !!

Hi all, well I had my thyroid op yesterday and I came home today at about 3.30pm today. All went well, just sore and bruised. Glad its all over and wasn't as bad as I thought. My surgeon managed to save a tiny bit of my thyroid and hopefully that will keep me off replacement hormone tablets for a while. It wasn't as bad as I thought although I did get a bit hysterical when I was in the anasthetic room but was all soon over. I'm glad I'm home now and trying to rest up. Thankyou everyone for your kind words.xx

I am SSSOOOO glad you are done and home now!!! So happy the surgery went well. I hope your recovery is quick and easy, my friend. Rest Well

Glad it went well. I had radiation therapy on my thyroid many years ago, and I'm amazed how far they have come since then. Rest up and make the cats wait on you for a change!

So glad it went well! Sorry you had a bit of a freak out, but I'm glad that passed quickly too.
