She keeps bolting out the door every morning, and since she doesn't go anywhere but right in the yard, I let her stay for awhile. I was having coffee, and I heard her screaming! I ran out the door, and she was running laps in the yard with a HUGE mocking bird chasing her and pecking at her. I shut the door behind me when I came out, and she ran full speed up on the porch and straight in to the door. I almost fell out laughing. She doesn't nearly as interested in sneaking out now.

Yes, she's fine. Only her dignity was hurt. I checked her little head for knots, but only found a few peck marks.

lol.. My cat is indoor/outdoor and we have a whole bunch of barn swallows trying to make nests in our carport.. Whenever my cats goes too close to them like 4 of them start chasing him thru the yard.. it's the FUNNIEST thing ever.. They don't actually peck him tho.. Glad your kitty is OK but isn't it just hilarious to watch?!

The little stinker is pounding on the door, screeching to go out. She is SO hard headed! I think the door will be dented before her head!

One day last Christmas, when I was home visiting Dad, his cat Pumpkin was sitting on the back porch. There was a small flock of sparrows that were dive-bombing her-they didn't peck her, but they were annoying her. When Dad let her in, the birds kept on coming to the glass sliding door and taunting her. Pumpkin was a bit peeved, but knew she was greatly outnumbered!
