I am new here, but scared to death. My 6 week old developed a lump on his right front knee area aout a week ago, I have been watching it and it started to swell over the weekend. I shaved around it and there is no punctures or tears in skin, but it is red and very warm to the touch. It is the size of a quarter tonight, I was holding him giving him some TLC and noticed two other lumps are comming around the other jonts on two other legs in the same knee area. Eating and Pottying fine, no fever. He is walking slowly, and limping, areas are tender to the touch. He has not had his shots yet.

I took Bingo to the vet and they thinkhe has a blood infection, caused from nursing (his mother was attacked by something when he was about 3 wks old and she had some open wounds and things....) So with him being so young, his immune system is weak and he is running a high temp from the infection. We started him on antibiotics Monday, and Thurs. I am taking him to get the lumps oened up and cleaned out so they can drain. The Doc said that it could go either way and we just have to hope for the best. It is in Gods Hands now, and all we can do is pray for him.

Thank you to everyone for all your kind thoughts, it really helps knowing we have people thinking and praying for our little guy. He is a fighter and we are all pulling for him to get through this. It may cost a fortune, but at this point I want to give Bingo a shot at a good healthy life.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!
Marci & Family...and of course BINGO
