Torbie is an American term, we use tortie tabby here.

Her breed is domestic long hair, colour is either brown tabby & white or tortie tabby & white. Can't see her colour or pattern from the photo posted.

Sorry about calling her torbie. She is actually medium hair, atleast that is what we were told. I have more photos;

sorry for being a nub, but what exactly= torbie (other than the obvious cross of tortie and tabby) is it the pattern and coloring?

I only ask b/c madison has a similar pattern and is tri colored, but not calico (even though I've argued with people about the real difference) I don't really care either way, it'd just be interesting to know.

p.s. Jazzy looks like she could use a good snuggle! what a beauty!

She looks like a Domestic Long Hair to me.

Torbie or tortie or tabby, these terms describe markings, not breed. I would call her markings classic tabby with white, I see no tortoiseshell or calico in her at all. Classic tabby means her stripes form swirls and targets. Mackerel tabby is tiger stripes.

And she has the Tabby M on her forehead.

I see tan on her but no orange in those pictures. She looks like a brown tabby & white coat pattern. Some people get confused because the brown can be a rather light tan that almost looks orange. The difference is that it's obviously brown if you've seen enough tabbies, and that the orange gene isn't being expressed in that cat.

I have a couple tabby & white DSH, I'm not sure if the one would still be considered a brown tabby as his undercoat is more dove grey but the other one has a tan undercoat.
Mine with speckled/ticked pattern instead of marble pattern.

I agree with Otto- classic brown tabby and white... Domestic Longhaired cat... and a beauty at that! Some of the coloring that may look orange is actually part of the "brown" coloration.

I did some research and wow, you guys are smart! She is a brown tabby with white. I found some pictures and they look kind of like her ;]

Thanks everyone!
