I think most of us have paper shredders since there is so much identify theft happening. You have to shred those important papers and old credit cards to keep yourself safe soooooooooo,

What brand do you have and does it shred in tiny pieces. I had one that just shreds in long strips and you can still see a lot of information. I just purchased a Royal cross cut shredder and it works much better. I will feel much safer with that. What do you have

I just have a cheapo one that shreds in long strips. I think it would be a sensible purchase to get a good one that cuts it into pieces.

I have one that cuts into strips, but I tend to take stuff to work and shred it there, which is shred into tiny pieces and picked up and shredded again by ShredIt (they shred by the bag so shredded and non shredded paper goes to them)

I dont have a shredder however I do burn all my garbage so all bank statements etc go into the bag and get burned. Not like anyone would want my identity anyways..good luck trying to get anything..LOL

I don't have a shredder, either. But if we leave mail down on surfaces Sherman and Tanna will shred it.

I reuse what paper we can for the worm bin and what we can't usually ends up in the trash with oil/grease/nasty food or cat litter on top of it - or sometime all of them combined. Have fun digging through my trash.

I have a Staples brand. It's a cross-shredder, so it definitely comes out in little bits.

I have a paper towel shredder, his name is Madison

Other than that, my cars are ugly, old, falling apart, and so is the building I live in with 2 other tennants. I can't imagine, out of all the nice cars and houses on this street anyone would shoot for my garbage and crappy credit.

besides, it'd collect dust, I leave all my mail on the table and never look at it anyways.

I have several in my house. They both came from Staples and do the cross cut shred. I don't put anything with my name and address on it in the trash.

I burn the documents with our name on them. Otherwise if its magazines or something non credit I tear our name label off or color it with a black marker.

We shred anything that has our name on it. Our old crosscut shredder died a few weeks ago, so we got a new one. About $50.

I take the shredded paper down to the shelter to use as litter for kitties that have had surgery.
