how these 2 queens are acting just wondering what they r doing

i saw 2 queens in my yard my video recorder was not working sadly but i saw one cat sneak up behind another and mock attacked then the other cat layed on the ground ears back

are they just aserting dominance? the standing queen then walked off and the one on the ground slowly followed her the one on the ground did not seem that scared or nervouindas just kinda shrugged the attack off like it was nothing

Not sure, but I've seen Buddy and Ashley behave that way to each other. They're both the best of friends. Buddy is usually the "sneak behind, mock attack" one. It could be dominance but if another cat tries to behave that way towards Ashley, I don't think Ash will agree to it.
