Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Haha..And I was just thinking about when Im going to make a sweater for my puppy.
I do dress Franklin up hes a mini doxie so winter wear is a MUST. He hates the wind and cold but loves playing in the snow so without his coat he would get too cold and wouldnt enjoy a nice romp thru the snow. He has 2 sweaters one grey cable knit one to match his dapple spots and a grey and black puffy coat with a faux fur hood to protect his ears.

Haha yup I wuv my weenie doggie!!! Heres some pics from this winter of him all dolled up. **When he was littler I had a tee-shirt for him that said stud muffin. Hes too big for it now**

Sleeping on my lap in his grey sweater.

His puffy coat...He is 'hard core' gotta love the skulls and cross bones. It makes him feel tough )

*I love how his tail wags so fast its a giant blur in the picture*

I have more but Ill keep it 'short'

I think if I ever tried to put some type of clothing on my cats, I'd look like a mummy from all the bandages covering the scratches I'd receive

I do for Kiko because he doesnt mind it, but not often, every once in a while. I do for Snowball when its freezing out. And I do it for Snowball when its hot out and he has a short cut because he has pink skin and can burn easily.

I would love to dress up Autumn but that is an impossible task. She would look cute dressed up as a witch for Halloween but that will never happen.

I bought a couple shirts for Nora but she hates them so I never put them on her. She walks really low with her belly dragging on the ground when she has one on...it's actually kind of funny. lol She never goes outside, so I don't need to worry about her getting cold outside in the winter. Not sure if I have any pictures or not.

If I tell you that one of the "ritual conversations" I have with Cindy in the mornings, when I'm trying to figure out what to wear, is "Aw, sweetie, if only Mum had a lovely coat like yours, she wouldn't ever need to worry about what to wear, because she'd always be perfectly dressed for any occasion" -- would that tell you where I stand on clothes for kitties?

To be sure, there are situations where it is a practical necessity, such as Pami mentions, and that's fine. But just because it's "cute" -- not for me. And I suspect that if I tried it, I could join Tara in her mummy impression.

I don't put clothes on my cats, they don't go outside and would never let me put clothes on them even if I wanted to.

My puppy had a sweater for about a month this winter until he grew out of it. I will probably buy him another one next winter once he is full grown. He loves to play in the snow, but he gets cold and shivers.

I have put costumes on them for holidays to take photos, usually Autumn because she lets me easier than the others do

Halloween

Christmas

I take them off as soon as I am done taking pictures, they don't go out, certainly not in the snow, so its just for my fun and not weather

Mine don't wear clothes, only a Santa hat for holiday pics.

When I lived in Canada I had a boy who love going out on his harness in the snow, he used to wear a sweater when outside.

OMG since I am a total sucker for tabbies, I am now totally in love with these pictures of Autumn!! I think she's a perfect tabby specimen, one of the cutest I've ever seen
Of course I'm partially biased because she's a brown tabby like Jake, except he's darker than her.

To answer the question, no I've never tried putting clothes on Jake, I would probably not be alive right now if I had

There's no place like home
I put a black scarf on my cat one year for Halloween but never since.

My dogs have dog-bananas that they put on if they are out in public (rarity).

I put one of my sweatshirts on my greyhound one time and found out that his arms were actually longer than mine. Hold out your arm and look at it - greyhound's arms are about that long.

What is funnier is she is my former feral and allows the dressing up - the boys are always less than impressed and while they wont bite etc, they will squirm out of the outfit before I get the second leg in. I do have pics of them all wearing Autumn's santa hat.

There is something adorable about brown tabbies, especially longer haired ones, but I am biased towards reds a little more
