Hi - I'm new to the forum. Franklin, Franny and I live in NYC. Franklin is a 2 1/2 YO seal lynx point Balinese and Franny is a nearly 4 YO seal point Bali. They aren;t related but they are from the same breeded. In fact, Franklin's mother couldn;t nurse so Franny (then known as Jocette) stepped in. I adopted Franny when she retired, about 7 months after I brought Franklin home. Here's a few pics

Welcome to TCS!!!

Your Balis are stunning and it looks like they are now very closely bonded. Did Franklin remember Franny? Or vice versa?

I like to think they remembered each other but who knows Either way they seem to get along pretty well, except when Franklin decides to be a pest, then you get the last picture But 2 seconds after that they're asleep on each other!

Your two cats are just beautiful!
One of my cats has some Balinese in her and she has the softest fur ever, are your two cats supersoft too?
I love the fluffy tail and that their coats are easy to care for and don't mat like other longer haired cats do.
I just posted a few photos of my cats, you should go take a look at them.

Your guys are beautiful! I love the dark points and the blue eyes. Yes my guys are very, very soft. I have never brushed either one of them They do shed a bi though. I ran the vacuum this weekend and it's a good thing I have beige carpet!

As they say in Burlington, Go, Cats, Go!

They are stunning!! What long limbs! My ReeRee is long limbed (definately not as long as your cats!) but I have to be careful holding a toy in front of him because he overshoots alot and ends up swiping me with his claws. I would get such joy from watching them.....Thanks for sharing pics and WELCOME!

Are you a UVM Catamount fan? Yes, I am one of that kind of Vermont cats.
My cat Milly was born in Burlington and my cat Izzy was born in South Burlington so they are both Vermont cats of a different kind.
When I joined this website, my username was more for my first cat Samantha who was a holstein type of cat, she looked like she belonged on a carton of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

Yes, it's nice to have furniture and carpeting that match your cats fur, most of my carpet is blue like their eyes but the furniture matches their fur pretty well.

My brother is a UVM grad (when Ben & Jerry's was in an old gas station in down town Burlington!), and my niece is on her way their in the fall. I've spent my share of time in Gutterson Field House

I included the last pic to show that it's not always sunshine and roses Although it is just play. Their coloration is one of the things that drew me to Balis. That and their personalities and the fact that I don't seem to be allergic to them. Once upon a time Franny was known as Jocette and was a fancy pants show cat.

Now she's just Franny, The Moosh

Franny was a beautiful show cat!
Neither of my cats were show cats, their former owner did breed them both but they were both fixed before I adopted them.

I'm also a UVM grad but not as old as your brother, I do remember the old gas station/Ben & Jerry's store. My son was accepted to UVM for this fall but he will most likely go to another college that's a little less pricey & it offered more scholarship $.
