Let me try to tie this back to the Tea Party activities, and in particular to the money that Palin is collecting from her Tea Party followers.....

Palin has her own PAC that has collected roughly $2.5 million from it's inception and spent $1.6 million of that money. In 2010, the PAC collected about $400,00 from her supporters and she spent roughly $402,000 as follows:

$243,000 on consultants, which included her treasurer and legal services.
$42,000 on travel, including $7,300 to de-ice her private plane.
$31,780 in postage
$25,000 in Internet fundraising
$11,596 for her photographer

and here's where you need a drum roll.....

$7,500 on 5 GOP candidates (note this is only $200 more than she spent on de-icing her plane)

So the real question is this: has she really earned this money? Do the people realize that the money they are giving to her is paying for lawyers, photo-ops, advertising to collect more money, and only a tiny percentage towards the candidates her PAC is supposedly trying to get into office? Her PAC site has 20 democratic targets in her sites. Why has she not donated to any GOP candidates in those races? She's selling a bill of goods to her followers, and not spending their money on the things she is selling to them. Who is the thief here?

Go google SarahPac. This information is all over the place.

What exactly do you think a PAC is for?

I thought PAC's exist to advance political causes or further the campaign efforts of candidates.

It is people's OWN responsibility to investigate where their PAC donations go, it is out there for anyone to see. This is no big deal, she is hiding anything. No one forces anyone to give.
