Gentle Unabrasive Collars

I'm looking for a couple of new collars to buy. The current ones I have are from Petsmart. I had Mochi wear one for just a week and when I took it off yesterday, all his neck fur has been rubbed off! Not to mention the fur near that area looks damaged as well.

Can anyone recommend some good gentle collars that won't do this? Must be tried and true. He is very sneaky and loves hanging out near the door, so it's something he'll be wearing 24/7.

mine all have Ragtime collars - cotton fabric, washable [should they need it]. that said - Pixel never wears hers because it causes her to lose the fur underneath. i think she's just unusually sensitive.
