Chubby kittens

My kittens are 8 days old.. and they are almost more round than they are long! My sister even mentioned how tubby they look on the webcam. I guess this means they are extra healthy?

I've seen some round kitten bellies. I'm not sure of a technical "yes' or "no" answer for you, but the ones I've seen grew up big and strong.

And, I'd love to see pictures of these little butterballs!

All my current kitten pics are linked in my signature, and my kitten cam is there too. I think they are just very well fed.

Yes, there is always a chance of worms, but none of my cats (for generations) have been allowed outside.. the mom was dewormed and they will be, just in case, as soon as they are old enough.

Sohni, my current babies aren't physically tubby, but weigh in at the 6 week weights and they are 4.5 weeks now LOL

I told my vet yesterday about how much they weigh and he said it's a very good thing, and he smiled and commented on the pictures I brought in for him to see. He said they were very healthy and big and he thought they were soooo cute Gotta love a vet who loves babies

IMO it means mom has plenty of milk and its rich - don't worry, once they start running around, they will slim down

Can't wait for more spotty baby pics soon

It's so fun watching them develop. They began to purr at 7 days, and now they are like a pile of motors at 10 days. Their eyes are opening and they are exploring their box. The boy was born in the middle weight but he is now the biggest and fattest of the three.

Oh that's right! I remember you now! I've been checking back to the webcam every few days or so. SO cute.
