this upsets me

it's one of the reasons I made reservations for my cat to be in cabin when I fly in September

Oh my, that is awful, they have a duty to care for pets when they are transported, they are not just a piece of baggage, I hope Rocky gets found safe and well soon. x

With all the new BS about luggage and carry-on, I am all the time waiting what new rules they will come up with pets. I have not yet had to fly with my pets but someone I have this feeling of doom that by the time I will have to there will be some ridiculous rule in place that cats/pets are not allowed in cabin.

There were 3 cats in just ONE carrier?? I don't know of ANY airline that will allow more than one cat per carrier, even as a paid carry-on.

This sounds rather strange to me.

I know, every airline here says 1 per carrier 2 animals per flight but I just checked Delta's website and they don't mention a limit per carrier. She had another cat with her as carryon too

Some of the breeders I know use Delta and there is a 1 cat per carrier rule.
You can have 2 kittens in 1 carrier though but only young kittens.
When cats/kittens are shipped they have tie things that have to be cut off.
I have had 3 cats shipped and we picked up 4 other cats that were shipped also.
My husband also worked for a airline.
It does sound strange to me also.
