Question of the Day Monday 12th

Well its a lovely sunny day today sooooo bit of a sunny question for you


What would you be doing on a warm sunny day?
(if you didnt have money to think about or work to go to)

I would be packing up a picnic, and heading off into the countryside to be near a nice calm lake to relax and then id feed the ducks

I would take a walk along our beautiful canal. Sit under a tree and read a book or write poetry. Go to the shelter and take the doggies out for walks.

I would take my dogs and hit the beach.
Too bad kitties aren't ideal for that situation.

Open up all the windows in the house for some fresh air for the furkids. Then go outside and work in the flowerbeds. There's a lot of weeding to be done and we're planning two new flowerbeds in the front yard.

*sigh* today IS going to be a warm sunny day!

I like to either go to the beach, or out to the lake. Relax in the sun. Read my nook. Ahhh.

Oh and I wont forget about opening the windows for the kitties so they can lay in them and bask

Probably just go out into the yard and play football with Franklin and have all the windows open for kitties. We dont do much warm weather wise except give Franklin that extra running time outside to get rid of his excess energy.

Sit in a porch swing and read/nap/watcing wildlife.

Go for a nice hike in the forest somewhere.

That sounds like a plan to me!

We enjoy going for nice long walks, either at Rockwood Park or perhaps the Irving Nature Park. Road trips to someplace new are always nice as well.

If its nice and I am not working, I often walk down tothe lake and sit in the park there or on the beach and relax. I often do that even if I ma working since our lakefront park has wifi

It is a very pretty day here where I live. I have already been outside and pulled some weeds and fertilized some plants. Then I mixed the concoction I use to spray weeds inside the fence where my cats live. It is 2 parts vinegar to 2 parts water with some dish detergent added to make it stick. It works wonderful and I don't have to worry about harming my fur babies. And hubby has gone fishing. It doesn't get any better than that.

OMg... If I got a sunny day here for sure I´ll must to make Garden labour...

Well, my day was yesterday. Hubby went fishing with our son. So I trimmed a pine tree so I can see our kitty cemetary from our bedroom window.

Potted a rose I had wintered over. Burned some old cardboard. Just a small fire in our firepit.

Let the kitties out in their run and talked to them while I was working. Sat on my mom's old yard swing, (the kind with seats facing eachother) and looked up and watched the clouds. Saw our woodchucks running through the gully, crashing through old leaves and making a racket!

As blueyedgirl says, it doesn't get much better than that!

That's what I would do too, except I just have the one dog. My dog got to run around yesterday at a park for the first time and he loved it. I can only imagine he would love the beach.

In the "real" world I live in I would go for a walk on the beach. I live within walking distance which is AWESOME watch everyone walking their doggies.

In a "fantasy" world where my health was better I would be surfing or kayaking in the ocean.

But having my feet in the sand is nothing to complain about for sure. I love it just the same.

We have an art gallery that has beautiful grounds. They have azaleas everywhere and a babbling brook. It's gorgeous when the flowers are in bloom, which is now! So, I like to pack a nice picnic lunch and go sit next to the water and stick my toes in.

I love for going on walks and doing anything outside this time of year. In Louisiana we have about a month of spring like weather before it gets sweltering. But my allergies have been so bad this year I really haven't been able to enjoy much, .

In the morning before it gets too hot, I'd be working in the garden. Once it heats up and gets too sunny, I'd be on the sun porch reading a good book (I have vitiligo so sun exposure is a no-no.)
