The little ,tiny female stray that came into my garage over two weeks ago went home today... WITH her original owners
... My persistence of deleting and re-posting the ad and picture on craiglist got lots of interest but last night her owner wrote me ...

I'm glad for her, them and you!
...Question. Did you need to spend lots of energy asking for proof of real ownership? I've never tried to find original owners of a stray pet but sometimes I wonder-- what if I did? Would I be super cautious about proof of real ownership?, etc.

Pictures , she nearly pounced the phone hearing her Moms voice and when he came to get her she jump into his arms...and they knew some of the personality quirks she had and wrote some in the I think that is my cat letter

Awesome!
It is a great feeling to find an owner to a lost pet. I had a pug recently & I found the owner too. The local police (I live in a small town) always seem to not be surprised when I call them to see if anyone has reported a missing dog or cat I have found. Great job!!

In this case it was a reasonable reason... a family member died and they had neighbors watching the house and thought the cat was in( she was and is a indoor/ outdoor_
