Well, a new cat showed up at the barn a few weeks ago and all of the sudden she seemed to get really fat. I think she might be pregnat but I am not sure. What do you all think? Here are pictures http://s819.photobucket.com/albums/z...%20Sassafrass/

Yeah, count this is the case. A very safe bet. Unless you know for sure it is a male OR a spayed female...

What are your thoughts, your plans?

Thanks. I am pretty sure it is a female but I'll check tomorrow. I have been tring to get my mom to let me take her home and I think I will get to. I will take her to the vet and set him test her for diseases and confirm whether or not she is preggo. If she isn't, I'll problably leave her at the barn since she has a good home there with mice to catch, food, water, and three other cats. But if she is(which is problably true, then I will definatly take her home so I can make sure she is safe and geting all the nutrients she needs as well as socialize the kittens and make sure everything goes well with the birth. Then, if there are more than two kittens, I will problably find homes for all but 1 or 2. She is very friendly, just a little wary of people tho she wil come up and rub me. She is a typical cat though, she'll come to you when she wants attention and she'll scold you if you don't obey her commands

Yes, welcome
She definatly looks like she could be. One thing to check is if she is if her nipples are large and pink- if they are than she's pregnant.
Have you ever had kittens before? If she is pregnant, you're going to want to isolate her to one room and make her a nest in a box or carrier. You can start feeding her kitten food so she gets extra nutrients.
Keep us updated on how things go

shes very furry down there so I can't tell. I tried to see if I could move some of the hair out of the way and she tried to scratch me. Umm, if I bring her home then I would problably isolate her to my room but, I have a dog. She doesn't mind my grandmothers dog, she just ignores him, but she doesn't get along well with my barn cats. My dog(Lexi) doesn't exactly enjoy having other animals in her house. I think they would just ignore eachother and stay their seperate ways after the kittens are born but what about when she's isolated to my room?

It is common moms are isolated together with their newborn babies. Standard procedure in fact.

About your plans, they sound very feasible and sound, but I dont see the word spaying.

Plan for this too!. If she isnt preggy, spay together with the vet visit.

IF she is preggy, spay after the delivery etc is done.

(It may also be possible to spay and do abortion, but it is perhaps another question).

Good luck!

Then it sounds like you have everything under control! Even if she isn't pregnant, I read your other thread that said you were interested in fostering. You could call your local shelter, because kitten season is here!

Mostly they want to hide their wastes. And the litter is the only place where they can easily dig - and hide the wastes. This is why it usually go on by itselv.

Use common sand-alike clay litter, no fancy parfumed versions.

You can lay in a little crumbled leaves from outside, or even some dirt (=earth) from outside on the litter clay. To be extra sure she will recognize the function.

Well, turns out HE won't be having kittens. Lady Sassy(Now Sir Frassy) is a neutered tom and won't be adding to the over population of cats and kittens already existing. So, he will stay at the barn as a mouser as long as he pleases and I will remain catless. For now atleast, I might get to adopt or atleast foster sometime in the near future. Thank you for all of your help everyone

That's great! I thought he looked a bit manly, but I never take my gender-judging seriously
