Good morning my dear friends…
Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge… I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it… of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!.. … so lets begin…

Banks
-Do you use a lot the bank services?

-How often yo need to go at the bank?
-In your own opinion wich one gives the best services?

I do all my banking at one bank. I don't go to the bank all that often since my SS and Pension checks are auto deposited monthly. I don't need much cash on me since I use my debit card for mostly everything. No I do not bank online, do not trust it at all.

We run a business so are at the bank several times a week depositing customer cheques etc
We use a different bank for personal and business banking, I think they are as good as each other, they just offer different services that suit the two types of accounts better. I like the hours at TD better though.

I do use internet banking, and do trust the bank for e-services. My card has been compromised before (at an ATM) and they sorted it quickly so I am sure they would do the same should I have any issues with ebanking. I trust them more than stores who dont have defined regulations for dealing with my personal info

-Do you use a lot the bank services? Well, Direct Deposit. Does that count? But other than that, I don't use a lot of services. I break large bills into smaller ones. I don't like large bills like 100's ...Sometimes I'll ask for a cashiers check. It takes forever because my bank uses a typewriter

-How often yo need to go at the bank? Not often. Maybe every 4-6 weeks

-In your own opinion wich one gives the best services? I don't know. I liked Cross County, a local bank-- but I'm not with them anymore.

-Do you use the internet bank services?
-do you trust in the privacy of the internet bank services? No. Not really.

I pay bills online. I use the ATM to get cash, make the occasional deposit. I actually go inside the branch maybe twice a year -- it's not often that I need face-to-face contact with a live body. I've been dealing with TD many years -- and with Canada Trust before the two merged -- that's where those nice hours came from. I have absolute confidence.

Banks
-Do you use a lot the bank services?
I use a credit union. My paycheck is direct deposited into my account. I have a debit card and a credit card issued from my credit union.

-How often yo need to go at the bank?
I only go the credit union if I have a check that I need to cash. Usually I use the drive through windows.

-In your own opinion wich one gives the best services?
The credit union I belong to, of course!

-Do you use the internet bank services?
I check on my account (checks I've written, debits I've made, deposits, etc.) online a couple of times a week. I also pay all of my bills online.

-Do you trust in the privacy of the internet bank services?
So far, yes (knock wood!) I haven't had any problems.

I online bank...PC Financial and ING for my TFSA.

-Do you use a lot the bank services? Not really, just to cash my paycheques.
-How often yo need to go at the bank? Just to cash my cheque every 2 weeks
-In your own opinion wich one gives the best services? I like TD. I used to bank with CIBC but I can't stand the service there.
-Do you use the internet bank services? Yes, I pay all my bills online
-do you trust in the privacy of the internet bank services? Yes

Salary is direct deposited, I haven't been into the bank since I opened the account over 3 years ago.
I use online banking for transfering money or paying bills. If I have a cheque or cash to deposit I use the ATM.

Do you use a lot the bank services?

We use two banks, one for checking and our safety deposit box; we've had that account for many years. The other bank is for our savings and for our mortgage.

How often yo need to go at the bank?

Once a week. We don't do direct deposit.

In your own opinion wich one gives the best services?

Our primary bank is strictly a local bank and we've been customers for many many years. We receive excellent service there.

Do you use the internet bank services?

No.

Do you trust in the privacy of the internet bank services?

I guess it would be OK, but DH prefers to actually go to the banks.
