i am a bit conerned tho sincei let her in my house wednesday i have not seen her go to the bathroom? the vet said she is not holding anything in her and he does not think shes sick or constipated but still why havent i seen her go? is it cause im feeding her dry food? or is she doing it in the wrong area?

another wierd thing is shes 9 pounds i am shocked i thought she was a smaller sized cat but the vet said 9 pounds is good shes not over weight at all

Do you have other cats in your home?

Is new kitty roaming your home freely or is she confined to one room until she's more accustomed to her new home?

Does she have her own litterbox? She should; she shouldn't be sharing one with other cats if you have others; the 'smells' of other cats' pee/poop in the box might make her nervous to use their box.

If she was an outside cat, maybe she isn't even familiar with a litterbox?

Need more specific info with regard to cat's history, what kind of set-up you have, other pets, # of litterboxes, is new cat in her own room, etc. Try to provide as much info in order to get the best responses.

She may have never had a litter box before. I have heard of something you can put in the box to attract her to it but I am not sure what it is called maybe someone else who reads this will. I am sure she is a bit confused so give her time to adjust to her new home. Good luck with your kitty!

Be sure to clean good where she did her business so she won't do it again. I might would sit her a litter box there where she went already. Maybe someone else can give a better suggestion.
