They recently cut down a lot of trees and tidied branches on others in the area around us, leaving many birds homeless and subsequently, I have a pair of doves and three pigeons who seem to think sitting on my balcony all day and teasing 5 cats is a great way to get back at people.

Quincy was very unhappy at the screen I had to lock him in the bedroom, he threw himself at the screen door so much, I thought he would hurt himself.

But here is his little face at first sight of that pigeon who will walk right up to the screen door at coo at him

and here he is sulking and refusing to look at me or play with his ball because I locked him away

I know, what a bad momma I am, not letting him out on the balcony to kill the bird and jump to his death

That Quincy is definitely a little character!! Poor fella -- all he wants is to give that bird its due, and this dumb ol' human -- who's s'posed to LOVE him -- interferes!!! "lemme alone mom *pout*"

I just love that boy's pictures! He is so expressive. He really looks like he's pouting!

You know, when I picked him, I had pretty much decided on another cat. A girl identical looking to Autumn, who was named Princess.

Then this sweet orange boy came in, lying on his back, with his little heart shaped nose sticking out of the door of the carrier and his paws through the bars. I took him out and he licked my face, and rubbed against me and was all cutesy and loving and I had to have him - besides one princess is enough

... can I have that sweet loving, lick your face clean, cat back instead of this grumpy teenager?
