Morning peeps!

Well it's exam day today. I have prepared for about a month so I am hoping since I know what to expect, I will do better this time around. I am pretty confident.

It's a nice day today, cloudy but not supposed to have rain so thats good.

Tonight we are watching a movie with a friend...tomorrow we have a dentist appointment and then Sunday CUBA!

It's a gorgeous day here and supposed to last for a couple of weeks

Finish in 1 1/2 hours, then home to the kids

Hair salon tomorrow as well then coffe and retail therapy with sis!

Morning. Rainy here today, I don't mind. Not much going on, I'm going to visit Mom in the Nursing Home and THE MERRY MAIDS are coming here today. Tomorrow my sister and I get our hair cut.

Mollipop had a vet visit last night for her first kitten shots. She weighs two pounds exactly and is two months old as of yesterday. She's really laid-back this morning and didn't eat much at all....we think those shots kicked in. I'll go home at lunch time to check on her, see how she's doing. She was sleeping when I took her back to the computer room, but when I picked her up, she started to purr. I think she'll be fine. Those kitten shots can do a number on a little baby sometimes.

Friends are coming for dinner tomorrow night and for a night of cards. There are three couples other than us and I know we're going to have a good time. We were going out for pizza, but then I decided to roast a chicken (I have a recipe for a roast chicken, rotisserie style that is so good!! Everybody loves it.), make some orzo with roasted veggies (a Barefoot Contessa recipe), make flatbread, some broccoli and cauliflower coleslaw, and finish it off with a mocha chocolate cheesecake. I told everybody not to bring anything, that this is our treat. It's cooler out now since that cold front came through last night, so having the oven on for awhile won't heat the kitchen up too much.

CattyBird, do you have any problems with your MerryMaids coming into your home? I mean, with cats getting outside. My DH and I have been discussing having somebody come in to clean every other week, but we're scared to death that the cats will get outside or get into something they shouldn't. The thought of them getting out just scares me to death. We have a lot of Amish and Mennonites here that have jobs cleaning homes and they do a great job and they're not expensive.

I'm in a much better mood today thankfully.

Dana and I are going to go see Clash of The Titans tonight. I really can't wait because I love mythology! Not to mention popcorn...

Tomorrow we'll be at the City Market selling raffle tickets for Cat Rescue Maritimes. Hopefully we'll make LOTS of money where trapping will be starting very soon.

Its cold here today

Not much planned today, I am in the office after working at home over the last week and a bit so have spent the last hour or so opening mail.

Its someone's birthday though, so we have cake and goodies

Morning,

I'm working today. We got all of our equipment packed up yesterday (~ 1.5 tons worth I think) and it will ship out this morning. I don't have much else to do after that, so I may try to sneak out early. I'd like to get by the gym for at least a little while before I go. I bought a new laptop yesterday, so I'll be working on getting that set up tonight. While I'm setting it up, I may as well load a couple of games and see how well it plays them, too.

Other than that, it will be a quiet night with the kitties.

Gooodddd morning everyone. Today has started off better than the rest of the week. My SIL gets to come home today!! After only one day home since having Nicholas Im so happy for her! Also I got a blanket shipped out today where after fits and spurts of life deciding to butt in I finally got it done and all sewn together and stuff with 2 special gifts inside in one box...LOL!! Im so excited for her to get it but going from Pa to Ca is gonna be quite a trip and hopefully the over stuffed box doesnt bust at the seams LOL!

No plans as of yet for today, BF said he'll be home mid-afternoon which will be a nice change.

Oh yeah my new phone should get here today too, so I will spend some time figuring that out..
