My cats love almost anything they can get their cute, furry paws on.

Bread, rice, yogurt, and of course, any type of meat.

My dad once had a farm cat that would eat tomatoes right off the vine.

Smokey, a cat we had when I was a teenager and couldn't catch when we moved
, once took a great big chomp out of some flour-and-water dough I was mixing up. I let him get close and sniff it because I didn't think there was anything in it that a cat would want...and then I wasn't going to lose a finger taking away the bite he'd already gotten.

Dora chews the broom. It's a natural one, made out of corn stalks or something, so I figure it can't hurt her. Maybe it's like a toothbrush to her, or something.

Ginger chews paper, wrappers, thin plastic, things like that. She doesn't seem to swallow them, but we take them away when we're around and she lets us catch her. We try to straighten up, but I can't help but have some paperwork around. I'm not sure how to train her out of it since I've never had a cat do that before. So far, nothing seems to have happened, but if she ever starts seeming under the weather, the first thing I'll tell the vet to check is her stomach and intestines for clogs.

Well the two things our cats love most. Mcdonalds chesseburgers, they beg abd beg until they get some, and ice chips. Anytime we get ice out of the freezer they come running and wait for the chips from the ice crusher to hit the floor. Besides that they will eat anything I give them. Grapes, tamatos, raw chicken, any meet.

Whenever I'm making up any sort of bread dough the cats all start hanging around and whining.
If I drop any they'll run in and snatch it up pretty quickly.

I have a couple that like to chew on plastic. I take measures to make sure they're not getting a hold of any. But worse is Blaan, he'll try to eat just about anything he can. He's getting better at leaving stuff alone as he get's older, though.

I have one that I recently discovered like cabbage.
Tanna is weird and will try to eat nearly as much stuff as her brother does, though. I don't let her have much cabbage - actually I don't let her have any at all. She takes advantage of me dropping stuff and runs off with a piece every time.

My picky eater Cindy absolutely loves bakes lays chips. Both cats like Arbys roast beef. Swanie likes cool whip and I Can't Believe its Not Butter Light.

Swanie is another one who likes to chew plastic. I have to be very careful and not leave any around. Even the tops of water bottles he'll chew.

Da Lip loves popcorn, pork chops, peas, roast beef, vanilla ice cream, Ritz Crackers (original), most cheeses, milk, fried chicken (roasted is 'poison') and shortbread cookies. Da Magpie loves Cheetos, will eat any kind of meat although she prefers hot dogs and smokies, and nacho chips. Now I am off to make popcorn for me and Da Lip

I don't think Sho has any particular favorites that he goes nuts over, but I have caught him eating roast duck, mashed potato, tomato sauce, and trying to steal my dinner in general. We have fights over my dinner occasionally. It doesn't even matter that I fed him just ten minutes ago. I win those fights though. The moment I hiss, he shrinks away.

I have to ammend my earlier post....I found out in the past couple days that Hercules (and all other pets) LOVE LOVE LOVE bacon. He will actually come over while we are eating it and sit politely waiting for his piece. Atleast he isnt a glutton like the others who all try and steal it off our plates.

I forgot to put the clear top back on the mini-greenhouse I'm using for garden starts, when I watered it when I got home from work...a little while later, I looked over and Squirrel had chomped, down to nothing, the young bean vines that weren't ready for the garden when I planted the first batch two days ago. Serious "nom nom nom."

I don't care--I have plenty of leftover seeds, and the plants were meant to be food anyway--a little different kind of food, but still, it's not as if the plants were deprived of their purpose. It's just funny for a cat to so emphatically try out being an herbivore.

Penny likes baby spinach. Daisy unfortunately likes to chew on the leaves of a houseplant technically on the poisonous list (schefflera actinophylla)
If you have any words of wisdom on how I can stop this let me know either via PM or here. I wish she would go for baby spinach too- that would be way better

Holland will NOT leave me alone when I'm eating, although she has really only shown interest in two human foods: peanut butter and rice. I've caught her licking the knife after I make a PB sandwich...

Hubby came home with a loaf of freshly made bread. Much came running out with her little nose twitching as if it was tuna. She really enjoyed the small bits of bread we gave her.

My cat will eat ANYTHING edible, human, dog, or cat food, bugs too. I have to watch my food really close at all times. Popcorn, salad, fruits, anything, she is not picky. I take it this is unusual for a cat, but then again nothing about her is particularly normal

Milo hasn't ate anything weird yet but hes only 8 weeks and just got him recently. He doesn't like human food, he's curious about it he goes up and sniffs it but makes a funny face and backs off. Though one time I caught him tasting his litter. I don't know what he was thinking.

Same here, Neely has a plastic appetite. As for Gizmo, poor little guy ate the wrapper to my pantiliner and we had to rush him to the veterinary E.R. Thankfully he passed it and was ok but a week later the vet techs told me they were still talking about that one.

Zipper is a HUGE olive eater and when we order pizza in we must have olives on it. I swear she can smell them as soon as the box comes through the door. Her other thing is wire like on earbud headphones. We stopped buying the really good ones and buy several packages at a time from the $ store. All three of my furkids enjoy a puddle of milk on the kitchen counter in the morning. Liam will grab the container when we bring it out of the fridge because he wants his first.

Banshee ate bananas, mangoes, cantaloupe, vanilla ice cream (she would like the bowl when I was finished), white coconut cake (I had two cake layers cooling on the rack and didn't see her until she had eaten from both layers), poultry of any kind (she would sit on the floor by the oven, waiting for the turkey or chicken to finish roasting), frosted shredded wheat (she loved her shredded wheat!), honey bunches of oats, and other foods too numerous to mention. Her vet said that it was OK for her to have anything she wanted in moderation, except for grapes, raisins, and onions.....which she never bothered about anyway.

All of the cats love their people tuna and when I open cans of tuna for a recipe, I always open one extra can specifically to divide among the cats. We haven't tried tuna with Mollipop yet as I think she's a little small to be trying people foods. DH did try to get her interested in a bit of banana, but she wanted nothing to do with it.

Oh, and crab. The cats just love their crab. For years, we gave them crab for their Christmas entree. Since Banshee died, though, we stopped doing it.
