I shop all over the place

but mainly i shop at Tesco, purely because you get loyalty points which is converted to money vouchers and every so often they send you money off vouchers and if you spend so much on a certain "thing" you get extra points

I buy a lot of groceries from Sobeys because I get Airmiles but I also shop at Costco. It's $55 a year for a membership there.

We shop at a grocery store that is a couple of blocks from our house. It's called Thrifty Foods - the name is a misnomer but when they called it Overpriced Foods they didn't get any business.

We have a Costco membership and shop there every two weeks or so. It's something of a drive to get there so it's not cost effective to go too much. Our membership is $100 a year but we get a percentage back at the end of the year which more than pays for the membership.

I would kill for a Costco near to us. I will not shop at WalMart.

We have a local Giant store, not too far away from us and we go there for most of our groceries; they have a nice organic section. We will also go to Target for some paper items.

We get most of our meats at a butcher shop in town. We like the meat they sell, but also we really enjoy the people there. The older man is more than willing to talk to me about different cuts of meat....he's a sweetie. And they butcher locally.

There is a natural foods store not too far away that I like to shop in for some items.

I like to shop at a local flour mill for some of my flours. It's such an amazing place to visit. A little more expensive, but the flours are really nice. I didn't even know it existed until early last year.

When the weather is nice, I walk over to the farmers market on Wednesdays over my lunch break to buy produce. Sometimes on Friday afternoons, DH and I will stop at another market in town (this one is an organic market) for produce.

I would love to shop at Trader Joe's more often, but the only time I get there is when I visit a GF in Connecticut or when DH and I make a trip to the Philadelphia area. My nephew and his fiancee recently moved to MD and they are wonderful about bringing TJ items home for me when they come home. I love TJ olive oils especially and some of the cheeses there. Their pumpkin butter is delicious.

That's pretty much it.

I shop mostly at Shoprite, a major supermarket in this area. It is in walking distance but of course I take the car since I'll have lots of groceries coming home. It also has a separate pharmacy right in the store which is nice. I have shopped at Walmart when I need only a few items and found the prices really good and the lines at the counter aren't as long most of the time.

There is a huge Costco less than a mile away, in fact it's right next to Walmart. Went there a couple of times many years ago with a friend that had a membership card. Costco is not for me since I don't need to buy in bulk since I only cook for myself most of the time.

I usually go grocery shopping at Zehrs. They usually have the best sales. If I just have to get a couple of things or Zehrs has no good sales then I go to Sobeys. I like the Sobeys points, plus they always have contests for using your club sobeys card. Last summer, I won a $1400 bbq for using my Sobeys card.

I used to have a Costco membership but it ran out. Our closest Costco is about 45 minutes away so we didn't renew the membership. I have been wanting to go grocery shopping at the new Wal Mart about 25 minutes from here, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I will go there tomorrow.

Usually we shop at local places - Homeland, Kmart, Dollar General.

Sometimes Walmart, but that's in the next town over and we only go over there once or twice a month. We do shop at Sam's when we can afford a trip to Oklahoma City (time and money - that's 130+ mile trip one way).

Yeah, pretty much.
We couldn't shop at Sam's without one - they enforce it pretty closely that you have your card when you shop. They have some different food from what we can get anywhere else - different fruits and a lot of cheeses.

I think it's around $40? Mars used to give every one of their employees a free Sam's Club membership every year. But they stopped it this year so we'll have to buy our own.

Saves money? I'm not sure what else the membership offers.

We go every few days for fresh produce and do a big shop every two weeks or so for groceries.

We do go to Walmart sometimes, but let our Costco membership expire, we just didnt use it enough, but usually we go to Fortinos or Longos, Longos has a free points program, you get 2 points for every $1 you spend and can use them for different stuff or gift cards for the store. Fortinos doesn't have one.
Costco memberships are $55 here, I think we can save more than that by just shopping well through the year

We have a Costco membership, and do use it a few times a year, for things that we want to buy in bulk and freeze, and for paper and cleaning products. It's worthwhile for those things. I seem to recall the membership was somewhwere just under $60.

Other than that, I shop at a variety of stores, usually depending on who has the best price or the brand that I prefer. Safeway for a few things, IGA for a few things, Choices (local organic/natural), Capers (also local until they were bought out by Whole Foods), but my favourite by a loooooooooooooong way for general grocery/produce/meat shopping is Stong's -- also local, and they have lots of nice, interesting stuff that you don't see anywhere else, plus super service. I also have a couple of "favourite" butchers for special occasion meat, and a few "favourite" greengrocers for produce, and love to shop at the Granville Island Public Market.

The majority of our grocery shopping is done at Hy Vee, Wal-Mart, and (since DH is a manager there) Aldi's. I buy certain items at each store; for example, all my flour, sugar, and coffee come from Aldi's. Altho' yesterday I bought a dogwood tree and a dwarf red maple tree there (gotta love 'special purchase'). Wal-Mart is usually snacks, soda, and detergents. Hy Vee is a little bit of everything.

I shop about once a week (unless there's something I forgot, or run out of in the mean time.) I usually go to Meijer's, Walmart or Kroger. I'll hit Glen's if they're having a sale on something in particular that I need (they sometimes have great sales on Lipton Raspberry Tea...so I stock up.)

Since I work for WalMart,it's very convenient for me to shop on my way home.As an associate,I get a 10% discount on fresh produce,"junk food",and any other general merchandise type stuff. Not groceries, though, unfortunately, although we do get that during the holidays and I stock up then on freezer stuff.I go thru a lot of kitty litter, cat food, and now dog food, and that discount helps a lot.Never have been to Sam's.There's just been the 2 of us for several years,so no real reason to buy in bulk.

Not all of their stuff is hugely bulk. You can buy 8 pack cans of diced tomatoes for example. Something I think most of us (feeding two) could easily go through in a month.
