Life is VERY exciting for a Smudgey cat these days!

We bought a townhouse recently which has an enclosed back yard with 8' fences around it. She's very uncoordinated, so there's no way she could escape, so I let her hang out outside when I'm home.

She LOVES it. She wanders around sniffing and exploring everything, she chases bugs, and sits in the sun and just enjoys the fresh air

Just before she was chasing a grasshopper, and was hopping along after it, which was so cute.

And a bird JUST landed in the back yard, not too far from her. Her beady little eyes lit up, and she wiggled and wiggled and wiggled, and finally pounced - landing a good 2 feet away from the sparrow that flew off. She jumped up as it flew away (still nowhere near it), but it didn't seem to bother her - she seemed VERY excited just to see a bird up close

Give here a little time. She will catch on. I hate it, but I find dead bluebirds in my yard. I used to think it was Speedboat catching them. But it he has been gone since January and I still find them. I am not sure if it is Muffin or Mattie.

Awww! You sound like such a proud Meowmy!

Sounds like she's having an absolute blast! How are her allergies doing? Is the grass bothering her?

We need a video! Gotta see the wiggle, wiggle!!!
